Fume album review by Random 666
Taking elements of Thrash, Grind, doomy atmospherics and even touches of Hardcore, Fume's brand of guttural, hybrid metal is one you can't ignore! Fume come hitting hard with the best unsigned album I've ever heard. Listen to it once and you may well agree.

Each epic track is a instant classic but tracks like The lines are drawn, Wings of vengeance, On your own and Cuts like a knife will soon catapult this crew into bigger and bigger venues. At times moving at an intense hyper speed pace with hectic and intricate guitar and drum work and at other times slowing down to create walls of mass distortion sludge, but what allways remains is the sense of controlled power and technical precision. Each one of Fume's players displays great musical understanding and skill and plays with such immense efficiency that the overall effect is of a well oiled mechanism designed to punish you ears in the nicest way possible, while the twin vocalists bounce and build off each other in a dementedly. Excellently produced and mixed; A history... isn't just a collection of good songs either, but instead, is very much an album, almost a concept piece with recurring themes both lyrically and musically which hold the hold the whole thing togeather. So if you're a fan of hard as fuck metal in the vein of Stamping ground, HateBreed and Pantera, then check Fume out now! Seriously!!!!!!!!
